Robotic bed promises speedier recovery after heart surgery
NCT ID NCT07273669
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a special robotic bed called LOLE.K to see if it helps people recover faster after heart valve surgery. Twenty patients aged 60 to 85 will use the bed for early rehabilitation. Researchers will measure how long they stay in the hospital, how quickly they get off breathing machines, and how well they feel physically and emotionally. The goal is to see if the bed improves recovery compared to standard physical therapy.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
robotic bed (LOLE.K)
What this could lead to
If it works, this robotic bed could help heart surgery patients recover faster, with shorter hospital stays and better physical and mental well-being.
What could go wrong
This is a very small early study with only 20 people, so results may not apply to everyone. The bed is a device, not a drug, so benefits may be modest.
