First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study compares two ways of using a robot to help people with chronic stroke improve arm movement. About 72 participants will receive 18 sessions of robotic therapy over 6 weeks, focusing either on the shoulder first or the hand first. Researchers will measure arm function, muscle strength, and sensation before, after, and 3 months later to see which approach works better.
