Robot surgeons battle standard tools in cancer operation showdown
NCT ID NCT01247779
Summary
This study aimed to see if robot-assisted surgery is better than standard minimally invasive surgery for women with cervical, uterine, or ovarian cancer. It directly compared the two techniques in 386 patients, focusing on recovery time, complications, and quality of life after surgery. The goal was to determine which method offers the best outcomes for patients undergoing these cancer operations.
