Wake up in recovery, not surgery room? study tests faster robot surgery turnover
NCT ID NCT07332806
Summary
This study compares two places where patients wake up after robotic surgery: the operating room versus the recovery area. Researchers want to see if waking patients in the recovery area saves operating room time without causing more complications or worse recovery. They are enrolling 218 adults having elective robotic surgery to test which approach is more efficient and safe.
