Summary
This study tested a new navigation system to help surgeons perform robot-assisted kidney tumor removal more precisely. The goal was to help surgeons remove the entire tumor while saving as much healthy kidney tissue as possible. Researchers tested the system on 20 patients to see if it could accurately guide the surgeon to match a pre-surgery plan.
