First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking out the breathing tube after robot-assisted surgery in the recovery room instead of the operating room can free up the operating room faster. About 218 adults having robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see if this change saves time without causing more problems or harming recovery.
