Summary
This study tested whether using a robotic baby harp seal named Paro during physical and occupational therapy could help hospitalized children. Researchers wanted to see if the robot made therapy sessions easier and more enjoyable for kids aged 5-18, while also reducing their anxiety and improving their motivation. They also checked if parents felt less stressed when their children used the robotic seal during therapy.
