Summary
This study tested whether a robotic baby harp seal named Paro could help children aged 5 to 18 feel less anxious and more motivated during physical or occupational therapy in the hospital. 25 children took part, and researchers measured pain, mood, and how much they enjoyed therapy. The goal was to see if this robot companion is a practical and helpful tool for pediatric rehab.
