Summary
This study is testing a new robotic eye scanner designed to improve the detection of tears in the outer part of the retina (the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye). Researchers want to see if this automated scanner can find these tears as well as or better than the current standard manual exam, which can be uncomfortable. They will also ask participants which exam was more comfortable.
