First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests if using a robot for kidney transplant surgery leads to fewer problems within the first month compared to traditional open surgery. About 106 adults with kidney failure will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. The main goal is to see if robotic surgery reduces serious complications like bleeding or blood clots.
