Robot surgeons target testicular cancer overtreatment
NCT ID NCT06133543
Summary
This study is testing a new, minimally invasive robot-assisted technique to find out if testicular cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes. Currently, many patients receive strong chemotherapy or surgery they might not need. The new method uses a special green dye and a robot to precisely find and remove the most important lymph node for testing, which could help doctors tailor treatment and avoid unnecessary side effects.
