Robot surgeons target testicular cancer with fluorescent dye

NCT ID NCT06133543

Summary

This study is testing a new, minimally invasive diagnostic technique for men with early-stage testicular cancer. Doctors will use a robot and a fluorescent dye to find and remove the 'sentinel' lymph node, which is the first place cancer is likely to spread. The goal is to more accurately determine if the cancer has spread, which could help many patients avoid unnecessary chemotherapy or major surgery.
