Robot therapy aims to restore arm movement in chronic stroke patients

Summary

This study tests a new robot-based therapy designed to improve arm movement and sensation in people who had a stroke more than six months ago. The therapy focuses on helping the brain better process sensory information. About 109 adults with chronic stroke will participate, and their arm function will be measured before and after treatment.
