First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study compares two techniques for guiding a needle into a blocked leg artery during angioplasty: road mapping (using X-ray images) versus ultrasound (using sound waves). The study involves 32 adults with severe limb-threatening ischemia who need this procedure.
