Brain injection bypasses barrier to treat severe stroke

Summary

This early study tests if a new injection method can safely deliver a drug called RK-4 directly to the brain in people with severe stroke. The drug is given through a small hole in the skull, bypassing the blood-brain barrier. Only 6 people will take part, and the main goal is to check for side effects and see if the procedure works.
