New combo therapy shows promise for transplant kids with cancer

Summary
This study tested a new treatment for children who developed a type of lymphoma after an organ transplant. The treatment combined a drug called rituximab with specially trained immune cells that target the virus causing the cancer. The goal was to see if this combination could work better than the drug alone. The study included 18 children and was completed, but enrollment stopped early so results are limited.
