New hope for rare nerve disease as targeted trial launches

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug rituximab can help control a rare and disabling nerve disease called Anti-MAG neuropathy. It will enroll 90 patients who have had the disease for a short time and have high levels of a specific antibody, as these patients are thought to be most likely to benefit. The main goal is to see if treatment improves patients' ability to perform daily activities after one year.
