First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested a drug called riociguat in people with early pulmonary vascular disease, a condition where blood vessels in the lungs are under too much pressure. The goal was to see if the drug could improve blood flow and heart function. The study included 35 adults with connective tissue disease or an inherited form of the condition. The trial was stopped early, so results are limited.
