Summary
This study tested three different antibiotic combinations for people whose Helicobacter pylori stomach infection did not clear up with previous treatments. Researchers compared a dual therapy, a triple therapy containing rifabutin, and a standard quadruple therapy in 360 participants. The goal was to find the most effective and safest 'rescue' treatment for these stubborn infections.
