Summary
This study tests whether a gel containing a human growth factor (rhPDGF-BB) can help wounds heal faster after skin cancer removal on the head or neck. About 40 adults whose surgical wounds are too large to stitch closed will receive either the gel or a placebo. The goal is to see if the gel speeds up the growth of new tissue so a skin graft can be placed sooner.
