Can a golden root give you a mental and physical edge?
NCT ID NCT07225413
Summary
This study tested whether taking Rhodiola rosea (golden root) supplements for one week could improve exercise performance and mental focus in adults who regularly lift weights. Twenty-seven participants tried four different one-week regimens: no supplement, a placebo pill, a low dose, and a high dose of Rhodiola. On the final day of each week, they completed strength tests and a mental focus task to see if the supplement made a measurable difference.
