First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at whether taking Rhodiola rosea (golden root) for a week can help resistance-trained adults lift more and think sharper. Twenty-seven healthy men and women tried low and high doses, a placebo, and a no-pill control. They did strength tests, a cycling sprint, and a brain game to see if the herb made a difference.
