Summary

This study is testing whether a blood-filtering procedure called rheopheresis can help heal painful, hard-to-treat skin ulcers caused by calciphylaxis in people on dialysis. Researchers will compare the new treatment plus standard care against standard care alone in 138 patients. The main goal is to see if the treatment leads to complete wound healing after 12 weeks.
