Summary
This small study tested a type of talk therapy (RFCBT) that helps people break the cycle of repetitive negative thinking, called rumination. Researchers wanted to see if reducing rumination could also lower depressive symptoms and blood pressure in 9 low-income adults. The goal was to gather early information on whether this approach might help prevent both depression and heart disease.
