New hope for kids with relapsed leukemia: experimental drug combo enters safety trial
NCT ID NCT06177067
First seen Nov 03, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether adding a new drug called revumenib to two standard chemotherapy drugs is safe for children and young adults whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) has not responded to treatment or has returned. About 24 participants will receive the three-drug combination to find the safest dose and see if it can lead to remission. The goal is to control the disease, not to cure it, as ongoing management may still be needed.
