First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a new type of nerve block (called revised paravertebral block) to see if it reduces pain and helps patients recover faster after stoma closure surgery. About 250 adults having elective stoma reversal will receive either the new block or standard care. The main goals are lower pain scores and better quality of recovery in the first two days after surgery.
