First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study followed 204 people who had ankle surgery for chronic instability to see if they could return to their sport at the same level as before their injury. Researchers measured how many patients succeeded 10 months after surgery and looked at factors that helped or hindered their return. The goal was to understand which surgical technique works best for getting athletes back in action.
