Summary
This study tested a brain retraining program (amygdala and insula retraining plus mindfulness) to see if it could improve quality of life for people with persistent COVID symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, and moodiness. 120 adults aged 18-30 with a diagnosis of long COVID took part. The goal was to reduce over-sensitization and fear responses that may drive ongoing symptoms.
