Weekly shot shows promise for major weight loss in obesity trial

Summary
This study tests a once-weekly injection called retatrutide to help people with obesity or overweight lose weight. About 250 adults who do not have type 2 diabetes will receive either the drug or a placebo for 65 weeks. The main goal is to see how much weight they lose and if the treatment is safe.
