New study aims to stop a second fracture after the first break

Summary
This study tests whether a patient navigator—a personal health coach—can help older adults prevent another broken bone after a fragility fracture. About 2,634 people aged 50 and older who recently broke a bone will be assigned to either get this extra support or just standard education. The goal is to see which approach better reduces the chance of a second fracture over two years.
