First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a mobile breathing trainer (AiroFit PRO™) for 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week over 6 weeks can improve lung function, muscle strength, and quality of life in people who have had a stroke and have weakness on one side of the body (hemiplegia). About 54 adults who are at least 3 months post-stroke will be randomly assigned to use the device or do standard pursed-lips breathing exercises. The goal is to see if the smart trainer offers better results for breathing and recovery.
