First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at how resistance training (like lifting weights) makes children stronger. It will compare 40 healthy kids who do 12 weeks of training with those who don't. Researchers will use ultrasound and muscle activity tests to see if strength comes from bigger muscles or better nerve signals.
