Can lifting weights help protect memory in down syndrome?
NCT ID NCT07347912
Summary
This study is testing a special group exercise program designed for adults with Down syndrome. The program uses resistance training (like lifting weights or using resistance bands) to see if it can support brain health and healthy aging. Researchers want to find out if the program is enjoyable, practical to run, and if it helps with memory, daily skills, strength, and well-being in 36 participants.
