First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether 6 months of resistance exercise (like lifting weights) can improve thinking and memory in perimenopausal women aged 40 to 55 who are not active and have memory complaints. Researchers will also check effects on muscle health, sleep, mood, and quality of life. The goal is to find a simple way to protect brain health during this life stage.
