Can a mindset program ease the burden of a lifelong heart condition?
NCT ID NCT04738474
Summary
This study tested a 6-session program called PRISM, designed to teach stress management and resilience skills to adults living with congenital heart disease. Researchers wanted to see if the program was practical to deliver and if it could improve participants' ability to cope, their quality of life, and symptoms of anxiety or depression. The program was compared to standard medical care alone.
