Can a positive mindset help fibromyalgia patients walk farther?

NCT ID NCT07611539

First seen May 30, 2026 · Last updated May 30, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how resilience (the ability to bounce back from stress) and pain sensitivity affect physical function in people with fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition. Researchers will compare 100 participants (50 with fibromyalgia and 50 healthy volunteers) using a 6-minute walk test and questionnaires. The goal is to better understand what limits physical function in fibromyalgia, not to test a treatment.
