First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether opening blocked heart arteries with stents can improve quality of life for people with a type of heart failure called HFpEF. 350 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either a real stent or a placebo procedure, and neither they nor their doctors will know which they got. The goal is to see if stents truly help symptoms and daily living, beyond any placebo effect.
