First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to deliver the drug Avastin directly into the brain's arteries for people with recurrent glioblastoma or anaplastic astrocytoma. The goal is to see if repeated doses are safe and can help control the tumor better than standard IV therapy. About 54 adults with these aggressive brain tumors will receive the treatment through a catheter placed in the brain's blood vessels. The study aims to improve survival and quality of life.
