First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests a new treatment for women with recurrent breast cancer who had previous breast-conserving therapy. It uses a single, targeted dose of radiation before repeat surgery to shrink the tumor and possibly reduce side effects and improve cosmetic results. The trial will enroll 25 women aged 50 and older with small, low-risk tumors and monitor them for up to 5 years.
