Pharmacy on the phone: new study tests remote support to kick the habit
NCT ID NCT06943287
Summary
This study is testing if regular phone check-ins with a pharmacist can help people quit smoking. It involves 100 current smokers who are already getting screened for lung cancer. One group will get weekly phone support for 12 weeks, while the other group will just fill out surveys, to see which approach works better.
