Zap away pain? new device trial for liver disease sufferers
NCT ID NCT06932783
Summary
This study is testing whether a small, wearable electrical stimulation device can help manage chronic pain and depression in people with cirrhosis. Researchers will compare the real device to a fake one to see if it's practical and acceptable for patients to use at home. The main goal is to see if this approach is feasible and if participants find it helpful, not to cure the underlying liver disease.
