Summary

This study tested whether a smartphone app called MyDerm can help patients and doctors monitor chronic leg wounds from home. 25 adults with a single leg wound that had lasted more than 6 weeks took part. Patients used the app to take photos of their wound and answer questions about complications. After 2 months, the researchers measured patient and caregiver satisfaction, as well as how often the app was used.
