Summary
This study tests whether a non-invasive treatment called remote ischemic postconditioning (RIPOST) can improve survival in adults with septic shock. The treatment involves briefly inflating a blood pressure cuff on the arm to trigger protective effects in the body. The trial will enroll 720 ICU patients and measure survival and recovery at 90 days.
