Heart patients sent home with wearable monitors in Hospital-Stay trial
NCT ID NCT06602609
Summary
This study is testing if patients who have a minimally invasive heart valve replacement (TAVI) can go home the same day safely if they use special remote monitoring devices. Researchers want to see if this approach reduces total time spent in the hospital and prevents readmissions by catching heart rhythm problems early. About 216 patients will be randomly assigned to either go home with monitors or receive the current standard hospital care for comparison.
