Summary

This study tested whether a more comprehensive remote monitoring system could help heart failure patients with special pacemakers stay healthier and avoid hospital visits. Researchers compared two different remote monitoring approaches over 27 months to see which was better at preventing deaths or hospitalizations for worsening heart failure. The study involved 652 patients in France who had recently received these specialized heart devices.
