Smart band fights muscle loss in seniors at home
NCT ID NCT07421648
Summary
This study is testing a home exercise system called BandPass, which includes a smart resistance band and a phone app, to see if it can help older adults maintain their strength and mobility. About 39 participants aged 65+ will use the system three times a week for 8 weeks to follow a guided strengthening program. The main goals are to see if the system is easy and practical for older adults to use at home, and if using it leads to improvements in walking speed, leg strength, and overall physical function.
