New study tests remote heart monitoring for childhood cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT06747910

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a wearable device and a questionnaire can spot autonomic dysfunction (a nerve problem affecting heart rate and other body functions) in survivors of childhood leukemia and lymphoma. The goal is to see if these remote methods work as well as standard in-person tests. If successful, it could lead to earlier detection and easier monitoring for this at-risk group.
