Summary
This study tested a newer sedative drug, remimazolam, against the standard drug propofol for people having a heart ultrasound called a TEE. The goal was to see if remimazolam could keep blood pressure and heart rate more stable during the procedure. 105 adults took part, and researchers measured vital signs and how quickly patients woke up.
