Can standard breathing rehab help those with a double lung whammy?
NCT ID NCT07202793
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see if a standard outpatient breathing and exercise program helps people who have both COPD and high blood pressure in their lungs (pulmonary hypertension). Researchers compared two groups—one with both conditions and one with just COPD—to check if the rehab improved how far they could walk in six minutes and if it was safe. The goal was to understand if this common treatment is just as useful for people with the more complex condition.
