Summary
This study compares regular MRI scans to the usual monitoring for men with low-to-medium risk prostate cancer who choose active surveillance (watchful waiting). Over 5 years, researchers will see if MRIs catch cancer growth earlier and reduce the need for other tests like biopsies. About 1,263 men will take part, and the goal is to improve detection while saving healthcare costs.
